Event Overview
While some countries still battle the first wave, others are past the peak of infections and easing lockdowns, which is cause for hope. But, there is growing concern that without a vaccine and robust contact tracing, countries may face a second wave of infection in a few months, which would be devastating on several levels. Only international collaboration can help governments and businesses plan properly for the possible rebound.
This virtual event, entitled Preparing for the Second Wave, will tap into the minds of leading experts from business, government and international organizations for a conversation on planning for possible rebound of infection. Experts and business leaders will discuss how governments and businesses can minimize the impact on businesses, their workforces and communities in which they operate. More specifically, it will review what steps should be taken to prepare for a second wave, its potential impact on the global economy and what governments and business must do to mitigate the risk.
