Summit Overview

The B20 Summit comes at a time like no other in modern history when the world is facing the urgent need for global economies’ leaders to collaborate. As a global community, we recognize that governments cannot act alone and businesses need to play an important role. Global collaboration and effective international dialogue – and platforms such as the B20 – will be key to our collective success. And as the voice of business to the G20, B20 Saudi Arabia will convene global leaders to address these pivotal challenges and create an inclusive, resilient and sustainable economic future for all.

This year’s theme for the B20 Saudi Arabia Summit 2020 is ‘Transforming for Inclusive Growth’. The event will highlight the policies, business practices and innovations to realize this aim. B20 Saudi Arabia will present inclusive, action-oriented policy recommendations that are aligned to the G20 focus areas of people, planet and new frontiers.

Over the past several months, B20 Saudi Arabia’s six taskforces and action council have worked tirelessly to develop policy recommendations that will create a lasting legacy for the entire world. These actions cover B20 priority areas, including future of work, energy, finance, trade, and integrity and compliance. Special emphasis is on encouraging and creating a more equitable future for women in the business world. Further, the policy recommendations have been crafted to align to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and supporting SMEs and entrepreneurship.

We look forward to hosting global leaders in Riyadh and virtually at the Summit.
